The Mill-400 began to operate on the 25^th of December 1953 and is one of the strongest mills in all of Europe for the production of seamless pipes.

This mill produces so-called “casing” pipes for oil fields as well as pipes for the automotive industry.

It consists of main and auxiliary sections. Its main sections comprise:

• an annular (ring) furnace
• piercing mills N1 & N2
• an automated mill
• a rolling-off mill
• a seven-caged drawing mill
• straightening machines
